DANS LA CUSINES DE NORIKO: CHEF BHARAT METHA - ORANGE ISLAND - SETO NAI KAI

Noriko, the wild chef from Orange island had invited partner in kitchen, Indian/Japanese chef Bharat Metha to cook and exceptional food event, for the village locals.
Bharat came in with his spices from ANAN CORPORATION - his family business for two generations - while Noriko provided the space and local ingredients: clams, "Yasai" (vegetable), "mikan" (orange), all from the area and of course "Ino chichi" (wild boar) she catches from her own backyard.

The old farm house was buzzing with friends, neighbors and family helping with the SPICE event. The house partition screens were opened to a large central room as about 50 guests came in for the Indian Feast made ofvarious curry, Dal and subtitle salads. Masala Chai was served for tea time with Mikan cake made by friendly neigbours, all this accompanied by a joyful band playing Latin American music with rare Chinese instrument, Peruvian flute, Gypsy guitar and Mandolin !
